Amina Riccetti

Performing Artist

Help needed

My name is Amina Riccetti, and I’m an interdisciplinary performance artist currently researching in the field of experimental circus through a poetic, feminist exploration of body image, transformation, and resistance including movement, voice, and edible materials like flour and dough.

This summer, I’ve been accepted to the prestigious ATLAS Programme at ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival, one of the most important platforms for contemporary dance and performance in Europe. This programme offers a rare opportunity to deepen my artistic research in a highly focused environment, mentored by world-renowned dramaturg Guy Cools, and surrounded by an international cohort of artists. I’ll also be able to attend workshops, research labs, and performances, and receive individual coaching and studio space to develop my research further.

However, my participation at ATLAS comes with significant costs and I am seeking support to make this journey possible.

Your contribution will directly support my programme fee for ATLAS 2025

If you believe in feminist art, experimental performance, and the power of embodied research, I would be incredibly grateful for your support. Even small donations help me get one step closer to realizing this project with care, depth, and integrity.

Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your networks. Let’s make space together for art that questions, resists, and transforms.

With love and gratitude,

Amina Riccetti

Performing Circus Art

I am a circus artist with a background in Environmental Studies and PastryArts: I won awards in Pastry Competitions, graduated from the Life Science University in Vienna and studied Circus Arts in London at the National Centre for Circus Arts and in Turin at Flic Circus School, where I specialized in Aerial Silks and Aerial Straps. I have many years of experience in performing various styles and disciplines.

Most of my artistic work have feminism as a main topic. Depending on the project I focus on different aspects and through various methods and skills the theme is shown from distinct perspectives.
I do trans-disciplinary projects, combining edible sculptures and circus,

and multi disciplinary acts combining aerial arts and fire spinning.

Coaching

Learn new skills and achieve your goals

I love being on stage as much as I enjoy teaching. I love seeing my students grow and guide them throu adrenalin-tricks, creation processes, movement quality research and muscle growth.

My approach in teaching is unconventional as I make students explore their own abilities, limits and crush their comfort zones. I teach courses and workshops in Vienna and around Europe focussing on technique, creation, and menstruating bodies.

My passion for Aerial Silks and Aerial Straps is what sets me apart and I am happy to help you discover your inner artist.
